Hello my darlings,

As you all know, I love making stuff. It’s probably one of the things I enjoy doing the most. Therefore I’m thrilled to share with you a couple of things I made recently:

  • I made this vest
  • I made soup with the president
  • I completely redesigned my website

I made this vest

I’m absolutely delighted with the end result! It has very pretty emerald lining and fantastic pockets. I was so pleased with the result that I even dragged Becky all the way to Żebbuġ (in the middle of Malta) for a photoshoot. Check out all of the pictures on the blog!

I made soup with the president

Yes, yes, your boy is moving up in the ranks these days. In fact, it was not even just one president. How did I end up making soup with two presidents you may ask? Well, you can read that in the article of course (recipe + soup review included).

I completely redesigned my website

The blog now has an extremely simple layout. It’s super straightforward and very much ‘what you see is what you get’. I’m very interested to hear what you think of it.

I’ve written an article about this redesign where I go a bit deeper into the reasons and inspirations.

Excerpt from the biography of M.C. Escher that I’m currently reading. About his short visit to Malta. I guess some things never change… 🙂
